Enjoy Collingwood’s Frozen in Time Festival – December 28 – 30 for some free family fun including ice sculptures around the downtown streets, old fashioned wagon rides, battle of the chainsaws, kids craft centre, traditional street hockey and new this year a giant double slide.
Hometown Hockey in Collingwood
Hockey Night in Canada broadcaster Ron MacLean will be in Collingwood in December when Rogers Hometown Hockey makes an appearance in the community Dec. 29 and 30. Hometown Hockey is a hockey celebration featuring two days of live entertainment, NHL alumni, local celebrities and hockey-themed activities for all ages. Running from Saturday through to Sunday evening, the festival culminates with an outdoor viewing party of a national NHL game broadcast hosted live by MacLean on Sportsnet.
Blumination Dream Trail
Blumination Dream Trail is a magical, illuminated winter stroll through the Village, around the Mill Pond and straight through your imagination. It's a holiday celebration every day of the week, with entrancing nightly light shows and an experience like none other. Weekends bring Saturday night Fireworks, horse and wagon rides and visits with Santa. Learn more about this exciting event which takes place until January 6, 2019.
